Night at the Museum

From mixers to opening night ceremonies to annual summer blowouts; here is the candid nightlife atmosphere of the Cleveland Museum of Art up close and personal. It’s interesting to see how museums can be places calm observation, rules about flash photography and noise levels. However, on the right night at the CMA, those very rules are put to temporarily put to bed and public supporters are allowed to dress up, drink some adult beverages and get funky. This ongoing project, captured all on analog film, began in 2019, then the pandemic happened. Luckily, in May of 2022, the museum held its first public event in over two years.
